Education Center

Welcome to the Education Center!  Our goal here is to provide current, relevant, and concise information about a wide variety of orthopaedic injuries/conditions and their treatment.  This portion of the website is (and always will be) under construction.  We encourage you to check back frequently as we plan to continually add and update this section.  If you have ideas for educational items to be included, feel free to let us know!

Our Target Audience

We have developed this section with two groups of people in mind.  First and foremost, we what to educate our patients.  The medical world can be confusing and scary for many people, especially when they are facing surgery.  By providing clear and accurate information, we hope that our patients will become more informed about their orthopaedic condition and treatment plan.

Secondly, we hope that this section will be useful to the medical community.  This includes physicians, residents, medical students, physician assistants, therapists, and others.  In particular, we are creating an x-ray tutorial for referring physicians who want to take their own x-rays before referring patients to us.  Hopefully, it will help explain what radiographs we need (and why) to provide the best orthopaedic care possible.
